Raleigh Mascot Design (2023)

With the task of creating a mascot design for Raleigh, I drew upon the wonderful reputation our city has as the "City of Oaks", its frequent acorn symbolism, and my personal connection as an alumni to the NCSU Wolfpack. I loved combining retro typefaces, halftone shading, and clean character illustration to pull this piece together, with the addition of paper textures as a final touch.
